The Chairman of Civic Hungarian Party (PCM), Szasz Jeno, stated on Tuesday, March 3, that many people from Transylvania would like Laszlo Tokes to be the chairman of main Hungarian party UDMR. His presence at the Union leadership, at some point, will represent a value for the conflict between this organization and PCM, Szasz added.

A delegation of the European Parliament visited several camps of the Roma in Italy to see their living conditions. A curious thing hap-pened when Italian sunbathers near Naples found themselves steps away from the bodies of two Roma girls who drowned in the sea - absolutely nothing. The girls had gone swimming, got into difficulty and drowned, despite a rescue attempt.

Three quarters of the Hungarians who ac-knowledged their in-tent to vote in the Parliament elections would vote for UDMR if the elections were to take place next week, according to an opinion poll commissioned by the Union.
