Euro-parliamentarian Attila Kelemen said on September 14, he subsequently supports the reestablishment of the “Bolyai" University teaching in Hungarian tongue.
He also said that senators Frunda Gyorgy and Sogor Csaba, the first candidates on Democratic Union of Ethnic Hungarians in Romania (UDMR) list for the European Parliament, will subsequently continue this project.
“I believe they will continue the project with the University, as we have been having this topic in our program, in UDMR’s program, for 17 years. If the Governments of Romania had been wiser, they had given us the university and saw whether it has a point or not. We think it has. We should continue this project," UDMR deputy also said.
Kelemen and other two UDMR’s representatives with the EU’s Parliament, Konya Hamar Sandor and Szabo Karol, asked Brussels to recommend Romania the reestablishment of the State University “Janos Bolyai". (DIVERS – www.divers.ro)
