DAHR Mures president, Kelemen Attila, announced Tuesday, June 9 at press conference, that he will propose a presidential candidate for DAHR in the person of Marko Bela, NewsIn transmits.
“It is an ongoing discussion. We talk about the same issue since 20 years, if DAHR has or not a candidate. I think that for the first round of the elections we have to have a candidate. I am not disturbed by the szekler accent of Mr. Marko. Maybe some speak different in Romanian, but Marko with this local "couleur" is very good candidate. If each party will have a candidate, than I think at the presidential level we have to have him as candidate,” the Hungarian local leader declared. Kelemen added, that in the second round, “if we will gather a serious amount of votes, as I hope we will do,” negotiation is possible.
The same subject was touched by Marko Bela after the EP elections, when he declared that bishop Tokes will not be the candidate. “The problem was not yet discussed, but we will decide in June if we will have or not a candidate. Than we will decide who the person will be. I believe that our MEP colleagues have to go to Brussels and work there,” said Marko Bela. (DIVERS – www.divers.ro)
